SCRAPBOOKING

Come join us for a day of scrapbooking, sharing and learning with fellow scrappers.  Work on current projects.  Crop, journal and finish a page or two.  A Cricut machine wil be available to make die cuts.  We will have a Show and Tell table for you to bring and show off your creations as well as a table for you to trade your excess stickers, scraps and other materials.

PRIMITIVE UTENSILS

Everything we need is found in nature.  By using what nature provides, we'll use fire to make spoons, bowls, cups, tongs, and other wilderness utensils.  Join us as we spend some time around a fire sharing stories and learning to create tools for self-reliance.  Please, bring a good sharp knife.

CONTAINER GARDENING

Want the benefits of homegrown produce but are lacking the space?  If you have an extra kiddy pool, 5 gallon bucket, 2 liter bottle or even old gutters laying around, they you have the goods to make your container garden.  Come and learn which vegetables are best suited to your containers and walk away with the beginning of your 1st container garden.

From appetizers to desserts, you'd be amazed at what you can cook in a Dutch Oven.  Food cooked over the coals always tastes better.  Explore a variety of recipes and techniques for cooking in a Dutch Oven.  We bet you won't leave here hungry.

BIBLE ART JOURNALING

The workshop will cover not just journaling in a Bible but other ways to integrate doodling/art/color into your faith life.  Bring your Bible and an empty sketchbook as well as any materials you really want to learn/practice using, or just bring yourself.  There will be plenty of supplies available.

KNITTING & CROCHETING

Get your daily does of fiber at camp.  Whether a beginner or advanced in the world of knitting/ crocheting, bring along your yarn and needles/hooks and share a relaxing fall day at camp. Learn how to knit/crochet, learn a new stitch, finish a project, or learn about knitting for charity.

BEGINNING QUILTING

If you want to be a quilter, but don't know how to get started, join us for a few hours of basic instruction and information.  If you have a sewing machine available, bring it along, and we will learn how to use it.  If you don't have one, there will be a few available that day for you to use. Fabric, thread and other basics will be provided.  Come and learn!
